Women in Engineering

The Women In eNgineering (WIN) Program at The University of Texas at El Paso, serves as an overarching entity to coordinate activities and groups that synergistically encourage, enlighten, and empower (E3) women in engineering. Specifically, the WIN E3 Program develops initiatives designed to increase and support the number of women in engineering majors and careers.

WIN was envisioned to have three major groups the drive entwined activities. The groups are students within the Miguel A. Loya College of Engineering and K-12 students, faculty in the Miguel A. Loya College of Engineering who foster a culture that promotes equity and professional practicing engineers interested in sharing their experiences, skills, and knowledge to assist and encourage girls and young women to pursue an engineering career.
