1. On the main Blackboard Navigation, outside of the course, click Tools and open the YuJa Media Library.
2. Drag and Drop a video file on the page.
You can also click Upload at the top for additional uploading options like captions.

1. Open YuJa and click on Create Recording at the top.
2. Download the YuJa Capture software to your computer. This will allow Yuja to do screen capture as well as record the microphone and camera.
3. Once downloaded, clicking Create Recording will open the Yuja Screen Capture window.

1. Open Yuja.
2. Click Manage Media.
3. Navigate to the media you want, and hover over it.
4. Select More.
5. Select the Accessibility tab.
6. Click Auto-Caption.
7. In the Caption language drop-down menu, select the language you want.
8. Click Send Caption Request. Once it is processed, the captions will be available.

When creators are uploading media, they can request auto-captioning and add words to the Auto-Captioning Dictionary.

Note: These words are not added to the organization's Auto-Captioning Dictionary.

1. Open Yuja.
2. Click Manage Media.
3. Click Upload.
4. Click Manage Captions.
5. In the Select Captioning Method drop-down menu, select Auto-caption.
6. In the Language drop-down menu, select the language you want.
7. In the Auto-Captioning Dictionary field, enter a word to improve auto‑captioning quality.
8. Press Enter after each word and repeat as needed.
9. Click Save.
10. Click Browse. Navigate to and select your media.
11. Upload your media file using the Add Media modal.

1. Open Yuja.
2. Click Manage Media.
3. Navigate to the media you want, and hover over it.
4. Select Edit to open the Video Editor.
5. Click the Captions tab in the side panel to view all captions.
6. Edit the caption based on your needs.

1. Open the YuJa video submission assignment.
2. Click on the Submission box to display the WYSIWYG text editor.
3. Click the (+) icon in the content editor menu, click Content Market and click YuJa.
4. Select your video under the Media tab and click on Insert Content.
5. A pop-up window will appear. Change the name (if needed) or simply click Insert.
6. Click Submit to submit your assignment.
