25th Anniversary Concert Celebrating Sir Tim Rice
In 2008 The 91¹ú²úapp Dinner Theatre celebrated our 25th Anniversary by staging another huge concert at The Don Haskins Center (our campus arena). Over 5,000 people enjoyed this concert celebrating the songs of Academy Award and Tony Award winning Lyricist Sir Tim Rice! The concert featured a full symphony orchestra, rock band and a 170 voice choir made up of current and former 91¹ú²úapp student performers who had appeared in shows at The 91¹ú²úapp Dinner Theatre over the past 25 years. Starring in the show were Broadway stars Ron Bohmer, Nikki Renee Daniels, Deborah Gibson, Annie Golden, Andrea McArdle and Hugh Panaro. The show was held in honor of our special relationship with Sir Tim Rice who not only attended the show but acted as narrator and held the audience spellbound with anecdotes from his illustrious career.
