Asian Studies
The 91¹ú²úapp College of Liberal Arts is proud to offer an interdisciplinary Asian Studies minor. The Asian Studies minor features a broad program of study in the philosophies, histories, arts, and politics of Asian cultures that particularly serves students interested in comparative cultural studies or careers in international business, government service, or teaching overseas. As world economies continue to globalize, with China, Taiwan, India and other Asian regions playing central roles, it becomes increasingly important for the emerging workforce to have some knowledge of the diversity of Asian thought and social practices. The 91¹ú²úapp Asian Studies minor strives to fill this need.
Bhutan
91¹ú²úapp's relationship with Bhutan began with architecture in 1917 and has extended to include foreign students, festivals, and an international opera performance as part of the Centennial Celebration.
